Welcome to the official internet home of the Queensland Police Service Rugby League Association. As Commissioner and Patron of the Queensland Police Service Rugby League, I congratulate the Association’s efforts for the work they have done since 1998, in making their organisation one that the Queensland Police Service have great pride in. A lot of time and effort has gone into establishing the Association at its current level of activity within the Queensland Police Service, as well as in the mainstream rugby league community. The Queensland Police Service has a long and proud history in rugby league, and the current Association seeks to uphold that tradition.

The Association has undertaken the researching and collating of records, photographs and the history of rugby league within the Queensland Police Service. The web site you are currently visiting is the product of that effort and I am sure that you will find it interesting and informative.

The Association's goals are to foster fellowship and involvement amongst members of the Queensland Police Service and the community through rugby league and I encourage them in this regard. The Queensland Police Service encourages its members to involve themselves with the community and the Association upholds these ideals through its efforts in supporting a number of charities within the community.

As Commissioner of the Queensland Police Service, I acknowledge and support the Queensland Police Service Rugby League Association and their efforts in establishing themselves as a professional sporting organisation.
