Identity

QPSRL-LogoThe Association saw the need to develop an emblem to distinguish our identity.

ImageThe adoption of this emblem is paramount in our endeavours to portray a professional image for the Association.

Each of our regional representative teams display this emblem on their jerseys, in recognition of their membership to the Association.

Further to this, the Association has combined tradition in adopting the letters ‘QP’ and a bulldog, as its state representative squad’s emblem.  The ‘QP’ was the original emblem of the 1947 state side and the bulldog has its origins from the Brisbane police sides of the late 60’s and 70’s.

ImageMore recently, the bulldog or the name ‘bullymen’ has become synonymous with a term used by Aboriginal people for police officers.
